Whats next?

Hello, from Bolivia.

Well we made it to Copacabana, bolivia with out any problems. Today was a long day. We went on a self tour of Isla del sol. If you ever make it this way, this is NOT a recommended tour. This tour involves a very slow boat ride to the island, where you get dropped off to explore. As soon as you get off the boat you have to pay a tax to step onto the island of only 5 BS (about 90 cents). The you hike around, but if you go past the middle of the island you must pay another tax of 5 BS, also if you go to the north of the island you must pay 5 BS. You also have to pay to see the ruins and to use the bano (washroom). The landscape of this island reminds me of Kamloops, Merrit area. This tour would be like getting on a boat and going across Nicola lake and then getting off and paying a tax to hike to Merrit. Although I must say that the tour was very cheap (about $6 for both of us). Your dollar goes very far here. For example a 600ml beer in the restaurant costs about $1.50. Breakfast and lunch for Andrea and I cost us $15 today. Dinner was expense cause I got 4 beer....... very hard on the wallet.
Well the altitude has made Andrea sick again, so I tucked her into bed. She should be fine in the morning. Then we are off to La Paz. I cant wait to do some shopping there. Maybe find some christmas presents.

We will post more pictures later when we get back to some faster computers.

Chow,

Anthony and Andrea
ps. I dont read back what I type so I hope there isnt to many errors.
