Anthony and i have landed safe and sound in Lima, with luggage and all!!
James (my cousin) met us at the airport, which made it super easy, as all the peruvians were standing around yelling at us to take a cab ride with them, we saw james (the only white person) come down the escalator and meet us..a friendly face definately made it nice..

Our first day in lima was pretty relaxing..James lives in Miraflores (the higher end of lima) and lives about a five minute walk to the ocean. Anthony and i are both burnt to a crisp as we just walked the area today..it was a cloudy day but i guess because we are so close to the equator, we always need sunblock regardless..the smog is worse then Vancouver here and James says that it rarely ever clears off and there are no regulations on any type of pollution..so i guess they don´t have air care here?? :)

We are off to the markets and shopping tomorrow!! Just wanted to let everyone know we arrived safe and sound!! Ciao for now!!
